The Final Countdown

As many people know I am currently studying Creative Writing at the Open University. A sixth assignment, a piece of prose from my end of module assessment, was submitted some days ago and I was surprised to find that I was rather proud of it!

My end of module assessment (or EMA as it is called) is a piece of fantasy writing inspired by this film – I therefore have chosen to do a religious-based piece involving a small castle besieged by heretics. My main characters are the defenders and comprise of a handful of varied individuals who will no doubt clash and eventually pull together to save the day 😛

This is a short story so my main problem will be condensing everything into 4,000 words. A simple task I hope! *Crosses fingers*

Wish me luck in this endeavour as it is a BIG load of work. After this course is done and passed I will officially have a Diploma in Literature and Creative Writing 😀
